Gas Explosions in MA

Update: 9/18/18

The pressure in the natural gas pipe system was 12 times too high when a series of explosions occurred last week in three Massachusetts towns.  For more information, click here.

United Pipe & Steel’s corporate office is close to the towns affected by these explosions, and a few United Pipe employees were evacuated from their houses or affected by utility outages.  All are safe, an either have, or will return to work soon.

Yesterday, a series of gas explosions damaged many houses and caused many injuries in the MA towns of Lawrence, Andover and North Andover. All United Pipe employees in this area are safe.

We take Gas safety seriously and only sell the highest quality products for this application, and all other applications.

While we don’t know the cause of these explosions yet, we will be monitoring the situation and providing updates here.

Disaster Relief

United Pipe will be donating 5% of all Domestic CW profits now through September to relief foundations in Massachusetts to help those affected by the gas explosions.
