Lord,
you have allowed us, within this room, to work with
water - one of your most precious creations.
When we are thirsty, it quenches that thirst. When we
are hungry, water helps produce the crops that feed
us. Water grows the grass and the trees that produce
the air we breathe, a surface for our recreation, and
the beauty and tranquility that allows time for peace
and reflection in an every-busy, ever-growing world.
Lord, please guide this and other associations who work
within the water industry. Give us the ability to convince
our state and federal governments, and governments throughout
the world, of the need of a coherent and balanced plan
for water use...the knowledge to innovate new and better
ways to apply water...and the wisdom to be inclusive
and consider everyone's needs when allocating this limited,
precious resource.
Amen.
